Aims and
Scope
Advances in Fruit Science
is a quarterly, peer-reviewed scientific
journal. All manuscripts submitted will be
assessed for its scientific merits.
The journal is intended
as a medium for communication and discussion of
important issues that concern cultivation of
Fruit plants. The scope of this journal is
to encourage scientists to submit their
experimental and theoretical knowledge in
detail. Research notes, short
communications, original research articles and
review papers from different field of study,
related to Fruit Science are accepted for
publication.
Submissions
Manuscripts written in
English should be sent electronically for
consideration to the editor through afs.submission@gmail.com.
Authors are requested to
prepare their manuscripts in MS Word or PDF
format. Concise title should be followed
by Author’s full name(s) and
Affiliation(s)/Address(es). Each
manuscript must include abstract (brief and
informative) not exceeding 250 words.
Divide paper into usual sections of
Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results,
Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements and
References. Text should be typed in Times
New Roman with 12 font size and double
spaced. Tables and figures
should be placed at the end of the text,
one per page, followed by pages with the
legends. Add numbers to all the pages. New
paragraphs should be indicated by clear
indentation. Try to avoid footnotes.
Additional keywords in alphabetical order are
necessary for indexing. References,
citations and general style of manuscripts for
this Journal should follow the style of the
EJSR. It is the author’s responsibility to
obtain written premission to reproduce any
copyrighted materials. Once accepted for
publication the proof pages should be promptly
returned to editor in time with any corrections
and crucial amendments. Author will also
be asked to submit figures with high resolution,
300 dpi in TIFF or JPEG format for
publication. If required the editor is
entitled to modify paper in line with journal
conventions.
