Scope
Middle
Eastern Finance and Economics
is a quarterly,
peer-reviewed international research journal.
MEFE aims to publish articles of high quality
dealing with issues in international finance
and economics which
impact on Middle Eastern economies. While
maintaining the high standards of a
fully-refereed academic journal with
technical, empirical and
theoretical material, MEFE articles are also
accessible to non-specialists, policy-makers and
practitioners. MEFE concerns itself with issues such as
exchange rates, balance of payments, financial
institutions, corporate finance, risk analysis,
international banking and portfolio management,
financial market regulation, third world debt, economic
development, financial instruments and
international financial policy co-ordination.
MEFE aims at publishing
high quality articles and short research notes
particularly in: these areas: international
economics, economic development, international
finance, international banking and portfolio
management, financial economics, international
political economy, financial
analysis, financial
market regulation, financial risk analysis,
transition economies, corporate finance, exchange

Submissions
All articles are
subjected to a double blind peer-review process.
Manuscripts are invited from academicians,
researchers and practitioners for
publication consideration in all areas related to
applied sciences. Each manuscript must include
a 200-word abstract.
Articles are accepted in
MS-Word format only.
Submitted
articles should strictly follow the format of
the sample article.
