Journal of African Economics and
Finance publishes original research works on the African
economies, and their relation to the world economy. We seek, in
particular, quantitative and analytical papers dealing with
institutional change, policy and performance of the African
economies; research that compares the development process in
African economies with that in other countries is encouraged.

analytical perspective on economic issues concerning African
economies. The journal aims to provide foreign readers with an
objective, impartial, analytical and up-to-date account of the
problems faced and progress made by such economies in their
interaction with the world economy. It features research papers
by scholars from around the world and aims to provide expert
insight on African economies’ economic development and
directions for future research and policy analysis.
Journal of African Economics and
Finance introduces readers to examination and analysis of the

and policy researchers, business people and university students
who share an interest in observing and understanding the
economic development of the African economies.

African Economics and Finance also welcomes submissions in any
of the following sub-domains of international business studies
provided that they have relevance to the African economies: the

international environment affects the activities, strategies,
structures and decision-making processes of firms; the
