Journal of
Transition Economics and Finance publishes original research
works on the transition economies, and their relation to the
world economy. We seek, in particular, quantitative and
analytical papers dealing with institutional change, policy and
performance of the transition economies; research that compares
the development process in transition economies with that in
developed countries is encouraged. Journal of Transition
Economics and Finance offers an objective and analytical
perspective on economic issues concerning transition economies.
The journal aims to provide foreign readers with an objective,
impartial, analytical and up-to-date account of the problems
faced and progress made by such economies in their interaction
with the world economy. It features research papers by scholars
from around the world and aims to provide expert insight on
transition economies’ economic development and directions for
future research and policy analysis.
Journal of
Transition Economics and Finance introduces readers to
examination and analysis of the latest developments in the
transition economies and government economic policies. It
contains papers focusing on cutting edge issues in transition
economies’ economic development with long-term significance. The
papers are based on solid analytical logic and empirical
evidence. The editorial policy is designed to maintain a sound
balance between academic disciplines and accessibility for a
wide range of readers. The targeted readers are academic and
policy researchers, business people and university students who
share an interest in observing and understanding the economic
development of the transition economies.
Journal of Transition Economics and Finance also welcomes
submissions in any of the following sub-domains of international
business studies provided that they have relevance to the
transition economies: the activities, strategies, structures and
decision-making processes of multinational enterprises;
interactions between multinational enterprises and other actors,
organizations, institutions, and markets; the cross-border
activities of firms; how the international environment affects
the activities, strategies, structures and decision-making
processes of firms; the international dimensions of
organizational forms and activities; and cross-country
comparative studies of businesses, business processes and
organizational behavior in different countries and environments.
The journal is an interdisciplinary journal that welcomes
submissions from scholars in economics, finance and business
disciplines and from other disciplines if the manuscripts fall
within the Journal of Transition Economics and Finance's domain
statement.
Journal of Transition Economics and Finance realizes the
